While on this are, you will come across mostly with Tamang, Sherpa and Yholmo people and their typical culture, traditions and their own interesting dialects. However, there are Brahmins, Gurung, Newar and other types ethnic people too. So these people have varieties of practice, festivals and dialect but more importantly Lhosar, Chheju, Buddha, Jayanti, Dashain – Tihar, Teej / Janai Purnima are very much popular festival in this area.
